Cropped alot, but atleast i was able to fit in the focal point. The rest was kinda cool too but this shall do for now.

I think this is my BEST all year in art clas... don't you? i did it fast too, only took about 5 or 6 hours (which is actually fast compared to others 10 and Catwalks near 20 ^^;)

Done in Oil Pastel... They seemingly have a great texture that works well with Feathers... but i managed to make it work well with eyes and beaks aswell! just takes alot of layers to cover up the paper and make it look more solid.

PS; I chose to do an Eagle beause well, my Native name is... well i don't know how to swrite it down but it should sound like "OAT-eh-wan" which I'm sure means "Big Eagle" so yeah... thats the story i made up behind that to cover up the fact that i couldn't find any other picture of a bird i liked ^^;

EDIT; The Original has been given to my dad for fathers day. I warned him i will need it back in grade 12 for my art porfolio. So he said he will frame it to keep it safe.

Really dynamic drawing. And great work with the oil pastels; they can be difficult to work with, buy you handled them perfectly. =3
